Cry Out to God
Have you ever felt so helpless that you just didn’t know where to turn?
I know a woman who has been plagued by health problems. She had heart surgery a few years ago, followed by a cancer diagnosis, followed by internal bleeding. It seems like just as she finished one treatment, some other problem arose.
This woman, who is not yet a believer, was at her wits end. She cried to her daughter that she just wasn’t sure how to go on.
When I heard about this situation, my heart broke, because this woman really feels alone in her troubles. But when we accept Jesus into our hearts, we are not alone.
Jesus is with us and in us. And He wants us to cry out to Him when we are struggling. Psalm 55:17 says, “Evening, morning, and noon I cry out in distress, and He hears my voice.” So cry out to God. he delights to answer by giving us what is good for us.
So, whatever you are going through, take heart in knowing that you are not alone. If you haven’t yet accepted Jesus into your heart, do so. Let Him carry your problem. He will find a way.
