Compassion Leads to Prayer

We're told over and over again that when Jesus saw crowds of people, He had compassion on them.

When He saw the crowds, He said that they were harassed and helpless, and He had compassion. And He said to His disciples, ask the Lord of the harvest to send out workers.

When we are suffering, especially in impossible situations, we pray. We look to God. We cry out to God. We beg Him to intervene—to do what only He can do.

Is there a situation that you see, that you're observing, and it's triggering compassion in you?

Pray!

Begin by praying. Ask the King, the Lord of all, the one with perfect compassion towards all people—to intervene—to help, to rescue.

Always remember, there is hope with God.

“We cry out to God. We beg Him to intervene—to do what only He can do.”

Matthew 9:38

Pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.
