Are you enlightened?

Are you enlightened? Enlightenment means to see, to shine on, to brighten, or illuminate.

Ephesians 1 tells us that the eyes of our hearts can be enlightened to know the hope that God has called us to!

We can be enlightened to know God—to understand that He calls us to a life of hope!

I think of my son when he was little, crying in his crib, feeling alone in the dark of his little bedroom. He would call out for us. The moment that we walked in the room and we turned on the light, he would settle into peace. And we’d say, “Here we are. Here we are.”

This is the hope that we’re called to. Do you hear God saying to you, “I’m here”? Let Him enlighten your heart today.

Always remember there is hope with God.
