A Perfect Father

“I can do it myself!” If you’re a parent, you remember that phase—when your children were young toddlers, and they did NOT want help from Mom and Dad.

Children need to test their own skills and powers to discover what they can do all by themselves.

As parents, we want to let our kids try new things, but sometimes it just takes too long, or it’s too dangerous and we have to step in. Kids need parents! That’s why God set it up the way He did, right?

And the ultimate example of a perfect parent is God Himself. Psalm 103:13 says,

The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him.

We desperately need the care of God, our Heavenly Father. We need Him to care for us in His tenderness and in compassion.

He does not punish us when we ask for help. He keeps us safe under His watchful care.

Will you let God father you today?

“He does not punish us when we ask for help. He keeps us safe under His watchful care.”

Psalm 103:13

“The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him.”
