Angry God

Do you think of God as an angry God? Maybe you feel as if He is constantly standing above you looking down with a sense of disapproval.

Yes, God hates sin. Sin destroys us from the inside out and because of how much He loves us, He hates when something hurts us.

Listen to these words in the Old Testament book of Micah: “Who is God like you who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of His inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy.”

God’s mercy is so great that He sent a payment for our sin: His very own Son – Jesus. And He longs to show you compassion. He delights to show you mercy.

“God’s mercy is so great that He sent a payment for our sin: His very own Son – Jesus.”

Micah 7:18

“Where is another God like you, who pardons the guilt of the remnant, overlooking the sins of his special people? You will not stay angry with your people forever, because you delight in showing unfailing love.”
