A New Story

Who God is—makes you who you are. You can’t make things new. But God can. Because He is your creator, when you invite Him to be the Lord of your life, you are made new!

Sometimes we hear people say, “You’re starting a new chapter in life.” But rebirth in Jesus means picking up an entirely new book! A fresh start, but on God’s terms. He begins to write a new story, washing the old mess away.

Being made new isn't just about not sinning. It’s recognizing who God is, and who you are in light of that. It’s the shocking revelation that God’s magnificence envelops everything that you are.

In Psalm 139, David says to God,

Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.

There is a loving design to your existence.

“Because He is your creator, when you invite Him to be the Lord of your life, you are made new!”

Psalm 139:13-14

“You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.”
