Who loves the broken?
How easy it is to love what is beautiful, the powerful, the young. We’re all naturally drawn to this.
But who loves the old, the poor, the tired, or the abused? When our bodies are destroyed because of age, or sickness, or addiction?
The Creator of the universe- He sees past all of these things. He alone has the power to heal, and to help, and to comfort.
He promises in Ezekiel 34 that He Himself will tend to His sheep. He will search for the lost and bring back the strays. He will bind up the injured and strengthen the weak.
Wow! Isn’t that absolutely beautiful? How can we not love Him for loving us in this way?
Always remember there is hope with God.

“I myself will tend my sheep and give them a place to lie down in peace, says the Sovereign Lord. I will search for my lost ones who strayed away, and I will bring them safely home again. I will bandage the injured and strengthen the weak.”
