What are you doing with your life?
Have you ever wondered what you are doing with your life? I mean, what’s the purpose behind getting up and going to work every day?
I had these thoughts when I was in my early twenties. By worldly standards, I was doing well. I had a good job, I had lots of friends, and I was always working hard to make sure I got invited to all the right parties each weekend.
But I had walked away from God years earlier, and I felt a growing sense of emptiness that could not be filled – no matter how busy I made myself.
I spent years spinning my wheels – discontent, but too prideful to turn back to face Jesus.
What I came to realize was that nothing would ever satisfy my soul in the way God could. Only Jesus will bring you true peace, significance, value, and purpose.
Maybe you’re stuck like I once was. If so, trust me when I say that all you need to do is turn and call out to Jesus.
