Watch in Hope

Listen to this beautiful verse of hope. “As for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.”

The interesting thing about this verse written by Micah in chapter 7 – it was written in a time of great destruction and suffering for the people of Israel. Micah describes it as a time of confusion.

Isn’t that exactly how we feel when trouble enters our life, when suffering walks through the door? We are swept away in confusion.

But we don’t have to stay there. We can be people of hope. Because we believe in a God who hears us. He is compassionate. We also believe in a God who saves us – a rescuer and a deliverer. 

Oh, my friends! Watch in hope.
