Useful to God

If you think you are too old, too young, too busy, or too sick to be useful to God – let me tell you about my grandmother.

She contracted polio when she was 50 years old and was restricted to a wheelchair for the next 47 years.

She spent lots of time praying for her family and friends.  She always loved and encouraged me.  She often would talk with her neighbors about the love of Jesus.

She didn’t let her physical weakness stop her from serving God and blessing others.

In Second Corinthians 12:10 the apostle Paul wrote, “I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

My grandma found ALL the strength she needed in God Himself, and she served Him until the end of her life.

2 Corinthians 12:10

“That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
