Think About Heaven

There is one thing we know about heaven that makes me excited. Every longing we’ve ever had will be met.

As a girl I remember my parents playing a song about a man who goes to heaven and sees Jesus. He describes it like this: “Being with Him was to have everything I ever wanted, be everything I ever imagined, and arrive at everywhere I’d only dreamed of going.”

These words resonated so deeply with me. I was always a girl of longing – a romantic, emotional and passionate.

This beautiful description of Jesus moved me then and it moves me now. Every longing met; every loss, every tear, every disappointment met and filled when I see Jesus face to face.
