The Sin Question
This is a statement attributed to Rudyard Kipling who said, "Nothing is ever settled, until it’s settled right." And you know, if you want to settle affairs with God Almighty, your Creator, who made you in your mother’s womb, who loves you, who wants you to live a victorious, joyful life on planet Earth and then eternally in Heaven in His presence, you have to settle the problem of sin right.
And you know, at the cross of Jesus Christ, is where you can settle your relationship with God the right way - the only way.
Do you remember when Jesus was on the cross, there were two criminals, one on the right, one on the left?
They both made fun of Jesus Christ, and then suddenly one of them changed his mind. He repented. He turned to Jesus and he said, "Jesus, remember me when you come in your kingdom. And Jesus said to him, "Truly, truly I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise."
Think of it, he was a criminal, a murderer probably. And he was crucified beside the Lord Jesus. He repented, and on the spot Jesus said to him, "Today you will be with me in paradise."
It is settled at the cross of Jesus Christ. Have you surrendered your heart to Christ? Are you right with God? Then things are alright, and you will be with Him in paradise.
