Seek Him First
Carla had received Jesus into her heart when she was young, but she lived many years without actually following Christ. She appeared to have a great life, but deep down she was depressed and felt like her life was going nowhere.
One weekend, Carla decided to attend church after not going for a few years. The pastor spoke on Matthew 6:33 which says, “Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Finally, Carla realized she had pushed God aside in her search for success.
As she began to make Jesus a true priority, Carla experienced big changes in her life. She immersed herself in God’s Word and felt peace and true joy.
