Peace on Earth Is Yours
Do you have peace in your heart? Deep peace that stays steady even when things are going badly?
Long ago on the first Christmas, a group of angels announced the birth of Jesus to a group of shepherds watching their flocks one night.
Luke 2 in the Message version of the Bible says…At once the angel was joined by a huge angelic choir singing God’s praises: Glory to God in the heavenly heights, Peace to all men and women on earth who please him.
The act of Jesus coming to earth, being born as a baby, and purchasing the forgiveness of all our sins on the cross was to bring us to a place of deep peace with God.
In God, we find security, rest, and the promise of eternal life. And this assurance can hold us steady and peaceful even in the hardest times of life.
Ask Him to plant His peace deep in your heart today.
