The Path of Peace

As December gets underway, I am sure that you have so many things on your mind. Shopping, gifts, travel planning, and how you’re going to afford it all.

And maybe amid everything else, there are bittersweet memories of Christmases past weighing on your heart.

I think there’s something God wants to give you this Christmas: peace.

Leading up to the first Christmas, this is what Zechariah prophesied about Jesus…

“Because of God’s tender mercy, the morning light from heaven is about to break upon us, to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, and to guide us to the path of peace.”

Jesus came to shine His light on us, and to guide us—even you—to the path of peace. I want to invite you to let God hold you still.

Give yourself permission to slow down and behold the wondrous love God has shown us in Jesus Christ.

“Give yourself permission to slow down and behold the wondrous love God has shown us in Jesus Christ.”

Luke 1:78-79

“Because of God’s tender mercy, the morning light from heaven is about to break upon us, to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, and to guide us to the path of peace.”
