No More Striving

As humans, we're always working and striving to change our lives to become better, stronger, more efficient, more productive, and this is good. This is in us.

But at times striving can be a huge burden. This constant need to change, achieve, produce.

Think of a seed planted in the ground. It needs water and air and sunlight, and with all the right things, it grows. It produces. It feels miraculous.

Well, Jesus said, we are like a seed. When we walk with Him, when we know Him, when we read His word and meet with Him, a miracle takes place in our lives, and He changes us from the inside out.

Are you striving for God? Or are you living as a seed in His garden?

Always remember, there is hope with God.

“Are you striving for God? Or are you living as a seed in His garden?”

Matthew 11:29-30

Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.
