Look at the Unseen

Do you feel like an exile here? As if this place we live is not our home?

The words of 2 Corinthians 4 give us some great direction. Paul says,

We fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

When we fix our eyes on eternal things, we remember that this isn't our home and we begin to live for eternal reasons.

People love to say: Oh, they are so heavenly minded they’re no earthly good.

But C.S. Lewis reminds us that ‘the people who make the most impact in this world, are the ones who have thought the most about the next.’

Let's fix our eyes on our eternal home and live as people of impact.

Always remember, there’s hope with God.

“Let's fix our eyes on our eternal home and live as people of impact.”

2 Corinthians 4:18

“So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.”
