Let go of anxiety...

A huge source of anxiety is the idea that no one else will take care of us. Many people think, “I will not be taken care of. It’s all on my shoulders.”

And then when we come up against things that are out of OUR control—that we cannot take care of ourselves—it’s like a bomb of anxiety goes off in our chests. It can seem like relief is impossible.

I have Good News—Someone else wants to take care of you. And NOTHING is too big for Him to handle. It is God.

The Bible says, “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”

I have more Good News—You are not alone in this. You are a part of a family of believers. And together, we can all learn, in the midst of our sufferings to cast our cares on Him. The next verses say:

Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power forever and ever. Amen.

I am praying this for you today—that at the other end of your suffering, God will restore you and make you strong! He is faithful.

“I have Good News—Someone else wants to take care of you. And NOTHING is too big for Him to handle. It is God.”
