Joy for All Things

Things get old, they wear out. Things get tired and fall apart. It’s frustrating and exhausting trying to keep our world new and fresh, and shiny.

We’re constantly striving to hold back decay from our homes, our cities, our communities, even our own bodies.

The Bible tells us the world is groaning. There’s a frustration to living on this earth, a bondage to decay as a result of sin and failure in this world. But one day, it will end.

Because of the work of Jesus on the cross- His death, His resurrection, His power over sin, and all that is wrong with the world. He says to us,
Look, I am making all things new.

Always remember, there is hope with God.

“There’s a frustration to living on this earth, a bondage to decay as a result of sin and failure in this world. But one day, it will end.”

Romans 8:20-21

“Against its will, all creation was subjected to God’s curse. But with eager hope, the creation looks forward to the day when it will join God’s children in glorious freedom from death and decay.”
