Is peace attainable?

Have you ever thought this? My life will calm down in a few weeks. After I finish this project. As soon as I get a better job. When my kids are a little older…

It’s true that some seasons of life are more difficult than others, but it’s also true that there is no magical arrival point. There’s no time in our lives when everything is going  to be sorted out just right.

So, you may be thinking, Andrew, if that’s the case, will I ever have peace?! 

Here’s what Jesus said, 

I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.

You can have God’s peace right now. It comes in receiving God’s offer of eternal life. It comes in knowing and trusting in a loving God who is powerful and able to change the things you cannot. 

Remember, there is always hope with God.
