Is God truly good?
Do you ever doubt God's faithfulness? I do. I have and I'm not proud of it. But in dark seasons, I think we all have times where we doubt that God is faithful. And maybe he might be faithful to other people, but is he truly faithful to me? And when I say faithful, that just means that the promises he's made, he will keep.
You know, I love the words of Psalm 100.
“The Lord is good. His love endures forever. And his faithfulness continues through all generations.”
My friends, are you doubting his faithfulness today? Maybe today, all you need to do is believe in faith. God, you said you are faithful, and I choose to believe it, no matter what is happening in my circumstances. This says right here, that “His love endures forever.” That means there is no end to his love. That means that there's nothing that you could do that would stop him loving you. “...and his faithfulness continues through all generations.”
My friends, can you believe today, Lord, no matter what is happening in my circumstances today, I believe... I choose to believe that you are a faithful God. And you know what that builds up inside of us when we choose to believe that he is faithful? Worship and rejoicing. Because we say “Thank You, Lord, you were faithful. You will never leave me. Your love endures forever.”
There is no end to his love. That means that there's nothing that you could do that would stop him loving you.
Psalm 100:5
