God's Plan for You

When my wife suffered multiple miscarriages, it wasn’t what we had hoped for. We still struggle with it. When my dad got lung cancer, I wasn’t planning on that either. I miss him so much.

Life often doesn’t go according to our plans. Maybe you’ve dealt with something similar. Surely you have. If you haven’t, you soon will. The pain of this world can feel overwhelming, and we might wonder—Is God even around?

Paul said, in Romans chapter 8, God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love Him.

Looking back, I can see how God has worked in these certain circumstances. Some things that didn’t make sense back then are clearer now.

Others—the hardest moments of pain and loss—they’re still hard to understand (I’ve got to be honest). But I have learned to trust God. He is always moving for our benefit.
