Fear of Death

Most people avoid the subject of death. We don’t want to talk about it until we have to.

I want you to know that in that moment, there is no need to be afraid. The Bible promises that we can be with God in heaven the very second that we take our final breath.

A few months ago my father-in-law, Luis Palau, died. As his body was failing I asked him, “Papa, are you afraid to die?” And he said, “No, Wendy, I feel like I’m going on a great adventure.” How beautiful!

You too can face death with that confidence if you know Jesus as your Savior and walk through life with Him.

Jesus Himself said that He was going to prepare a place in Heaven for those who trust Him, and that we will be together forever. I want to see you there, my friend. One day we will all die and I want to see you there.

Always remember, there is hope with God.

“The Bible promises that we can be with God in heaven the very second that we take our final breath.”

2 Corinthians 5:8

“Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord.”
