Fast-Track to Joy
In the Bible, in the book of Romans chapter 12, there is a verse that encourages us to be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer.
When we can't be joyful about our circumstances, we can still rejoice in the anticipation of what God is going to do with them, in them, and because of them. We have hope because we have a father in heaven who loves and cares for us.
When things in life are tough, we can fast-track to joy regardless of our circumstances by committing ourselves to prayer.
God can use your trials and turn them into triumphs. Be joyful in hope. Be patient during difficulties. Pray, and you know what? God will be right by your side, giving you the strength and comfort you need to get through the hard times.
The psalmist David wrote, "Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning."
