Everything Is a Loss
What’s the most valuable thing you have? What or who do you love the most?
The apostle Paul wrote a letter to the early Christians in Philippi to encourage them to follow the way of Jesus. In it, he said…
Everything good he had was a loss compared to one thing—knowing Jesus.
Not just serving Jesus, but knowing Him. When he wrote these words, he was in prison—everything was stripped away. How challenging for him! The truth is that everything we have, we will lose. And the people we love, they will go.
But you will one day face Jesus at the end of your life. Nothing matters more than this, when all is said and done.
Will He know you as a friend and welcome you home?
Always remember, there is hope with God.
“Will He know you as a friend and welcome you home? ”
Philippians 3:7
“I once thought these things were valuable, but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done.”
