Do you need rest?
These words of Jesus are for you today. He says…
“Are you tired? Worn out?...Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me, work with me—watch how I do it…. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”
Do you want what Jesus is offering? It requires letting go of what is preventing peace in your life- everything that keeps you distant from the relationship with God that you were created for. If you’re ready to put that away, pray with me now:
Jesus, I believe that You died on the cross to set me free and wash away every wrong thing I’ve ever done. I let go of my old self, all of my sin. Raise me to new life, give me true rest. Let my new life in You begin right now. Amen.
Remember, there is always hope with God.
