Do Not Dwell On the Past
Are you living in the past? Do your thoughts continually return to things done and said?
Maybe things you did and said yesterday? Maybe 10 years ago? Things that were done to you. Things that should have been handled differently.
Can I remind you of something so beautiful? God is the God of the future. We’re reminded over and over again of this in the Bible.
He’s told us to forget the former things, don’t dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing.
Because of the work of Jesus on the cross, God wants to do a new work in you: new life, new hope, a new future.
Turn away from your broken past and turn your heart to Jesus.
Always remember, there is hope with God.
“Turn away from your broken past and turn your heart to Jesus.”
Isaiah 43:19
“For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.”
