Can people really change?

Can people really change? The answer is, yes! But, it’s not easy.

Often, we aren’t motivated to change unless we have to—because personal growth means giving something up.

Those who choose to work on a struggling marriage will have to let go of unrealistic ideas of what “the perfect relationship” is. But whatever we need to surrender in order to follow God’s ways—He’s worth it.

And, more than any power in the world, God is the one who is able to transform us.

The Bible says,

the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.

When we let God gradually lovingly shape our hearts and heal our deep wounds—the benefits are so much greater than the cost.

Will you invite God to meet you in the “stuck places” of your life, and begin to change you today?

“Will you invite God to meet you in the “stuck places” of your life, and begin to change you today?”

2 Corinthians 3:18

“So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.”
